SSC upload sizes

UploadSizeWhat the notice asks
PhotoJPG, 20-50 KB
350 x 450 px
3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, no cap or spectacles. New SSC forms take the photo live with your camera; use this when a photo upload is asked. Make it
SignatureJPG, 10-20 KB
300 x 100 px
About 6 cm x 2 cm, signed in black ink on white paper. Make it

These are the sizes from recent SSC notices. The numbers are already filled in above when you open this page, so you only need to pick photo or signature and choose your file. Each notice can change them, so check yours: if it asks for something else, open Change the size and type it.

The photo is cut to the right shape with your face kept in the middle, and saved as a JPG at 200 DPI. For the signature, the empty paper around it is trimmed and the paper turned white, so a phone photo of your signature is accepted like a scan.
