How to use Exam Photo Resizer

Government and exam forms reject photos that are a few KB too big or too small, and most phones save photos of 2 to 5 MB. This tool knows the rules of the common Indian forms. Choose the exam, choose the upload, and it makes a JPG of exactly the right width, height and file size, at 200 DPI.
Signatures and thumb impressions are cut out of the paper around them and the paper is made white, so a photo of your signature taken on a phone looks like a scan. If a form needs a size we don't list, open Change the size and type the numbers from your notice.
For certificates, choose a PDF or photos of the pages. Photos become A4 PDF pages; a PDF that is too large is compressed until it is under the limit, with the text kept sharp.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the form say my photo is too small?
Many forms need at least 10 or 20 KB. A small picture can be only 5 KB, so this tool adds empty space inside the file to bring it into the range. The picture itself does not change.
Is 1 KB 1000 or 1024 bytes?
Forms differ, so we make files that pass both ways: never more than the largest size counted in 1000s, and never less than the smallest size counted in 1024s.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Photos and signatures are resized inside your browser. Only a PDF that needs to be made smaller is sent to our server, and it is deleted straight after.
The sizes in my notice are different. What do I do?
Rules change from year to year. Open Change the size, type the width, height and KB from your notice, and tap Resize. The notice always wins.
